Sir James Dyson setup Dyson the company with the royalties and created Dyson Limited. The famous bag-less and cordless vacuum cleaners that Dyson now offers have traversed into offices, hotels, transportation industries, airports and many more industries. With Dyson now expanding to the automobile market, Dyson had decided to relocate the headquarters as the location decision is critical to its success. Offices of any corporation or organization is essential to the success and overall financial picture of the company or organization. With a strategic location, the company would be allowedto maximize the revenue stream all while lowering their costs. A poor location would only hinderthe company or organizations revenue and increase their costs and overall could create a loss. Management would be key in this decision to ensure that the best location would achieve a perfect level of productivity and success. With the 7 main factors that affect a location decision for a company or organization, these would include labor productivity, exchange rates, costs, currency risks, political risks, values and culture, as well as, proximity to markets, suppliers and competitors. In countries that provide the labor force with low wage rates, organizations are usually tempted to locate to that low wage rate areas to ensure lower costs and allow for higher revenue.
