Citizens unfamiliar with the Korean labor market frequently face obstacles exclusive to Korea, therefore employing the right individuals and consulting with local bookkeepers who understand the local market and can guide potential practices they should follow would be a great asset. The Republic of Korea is located between China and Japan. Its geopolitical position has enabled Korea to act as a bridge for cultural exchanges and trade between its neighbors. The 2018 Winter Olympic Games was hosted by South Korea in PyeongChang and was the second Olympic games to be held in that country after Seoul hosted the 1988 Summer Games. For some South Koreans this was a challenge and for the Armed Forces Soldiers stationed here it was a historic moment.
