Case Study Analysis #1 Introduction This is a case study over Aflac and L.L. Bean. I will begin this study with a company overview for Aflac and L.L. Bean. In this paper I will be discussing how each company uses products/services to enhance compensation for employees, strengths and weaknesses, external opportunities, organizational objectives, benefits, and recommendations by teams. Company overview of Aflac and LL Bean. Aflac is a Fortune 500 insurance company that was founded in 1955 by three brothers [Ree09]. They employ more than 4,500 people and have more than 71,000 licensed independent agents throughout the U.S. and Japan [Ree09]. L.L. Bean is an outdoor apparel specialty catalog and retail store founded by Leon Leonwood Bean in 1912 [Ree09]. L.L. Bean has retail stores but they do most of their sales through catalog and online sales. How the company uses its own products or services to enhance the total compensation for its employees.
