The family that is affected by child abuse is specialand requires the CPS programs to scrutinize and review policies and practices. Adults also face challenges while trying to protect the abused children. Additionally, workers from the CPS departments have faced challenges because of the chronic nature of domestic violence. Guiding principles and anticipated outcomes CPS has guiding principles and outcomes for child protection. One of the principles is the abused child’s safety is connected to the adult’s safety. Violence perpetrators who abuse their partners also harm children. Abused children must be kept by people who are not offenders. After identifying the type ofviolence, all the offenders are held responsible for the violence. CPS
