TOPIC 2 Decisions Brief description The Kennbuons Café is a café, restaurant and a coffeehouse venue that offers temperately-priced food to a casual dining market. Kennbuons Café sells fruit smoothies, brewed coffee and espresso beverages, granita ices, and juices, and among other beverages. Kennbuons is consists of a dessert bar which serves a variety of freshly prepared desserts. It also serves baked goods for breakfast. In Kennbuons Café luncheon services is made up of both carry-out and dine-in selections menu. Also, the evening hours always accommodate full-service dining and Spanish tapas which is an appetizer service, a full-service bar, live entertainment and light weekend. Kennbuons Café also sells a few selected magazines depending on the market niche to its customers. The magazines are mainly of cinema, lifestyle, art, architecture, design among others. In addition, Kennbuons café venue always features Studioplex artist’s art and products which creates a cross-selling opportunity. Strategy for a Business Concept All businesses need to embrace strategy planning since it a process which is significant to all business. Strategy for a business helps to match the strengths and opportunities of business (Ansoff, 1969). For the formulation of business, business strategy needs to be looked into. A business concept strategy that would provide competition to the coffee shop needs a business plan to determine whether the business idea is feasible or not feasible. Therefore, Kennbuons coffee shop business should put into consideration the following aspect as a strategy for a business concept. This is after a research and development period before the results can be correctly predicted for longer time application.

TOPIC 3 Defining the Business and Vision : The first step of the coffee shop business would be started through defining the business and vision in order to make a driving force of the business and clarify the vision (Kim & Mauborgne, 2005). The business would put its customers into consideration while defining and setting the vision for the business. The business would also consider the products and services and the business as a whole to make a growth which is successful. The business would also look into the plan for growth and the opportunities available so as to acquire the competitive advantage in the market. Goal Setting : The coffee shop business would come up with a record of goals which a brief description of actions it intends to carry out to boost its presence in the market. By having a list of goals that the business intends to act on, the main goal of the business would be able acquire competitive lead in the market in the next 4 years of business operations in the market.
