Anel Sanchez Professor Williams Soc 2010 April 10 2019 RG20 1. According to MacLeod, Social inequality is the existence of unequal opportunities and rewards for different social positions or statuses within a group or society. Therefore, how does school reproduce social inequality shows in the ways of teaching, I remember a time where I went to a Catholic School in NC due to my mother was well off, she made six figures easily, and the tuition was pretty pricey, everyone in the building wanted to ensure success for their student, if someone had a special need in learning then there will be accommodations made immediately, if you were gifted in academics you will be placed in the program AIG, as well there are so many clubs to attend to, many sports to play, it was overall a good school, once my mother and I moved, she still made the same amount, however, everything is pretty pricey over here, mother believed that we should live in a nice area in Norwood Park that I only had to walk to school, at that time
