Running Head: Case Study 1 Week 7 Case Study CRMJ 450 Jessica Morgan February 18, 2018
Running Head: Case Study 2 What suspicious activities that preceded the event did the attackers display that could have tipped off the authorities to their intentions? Timothy McVeigh clearly had a mental disorder that some would have said, but he was also believed to be just psycho. Somebody that should not have had to opportunity serve this nation but rather somebody that ought to have been bolted up quite a while before his outrage and aversion showed in the way that it did. I think that if individuals were as watchful has they are today at that point there is a probability that his suspicious practices, exercises, and convictions would have been seen if not by the general population then by experts. Timothy showed various suspicious exercises and practices preceding the shelling of the government building. Those activities were: He enrolled into the United States Army. This man was an armed force heavy armament specialist, somebody that worked an infantry bolster weapon, and somebody who was regarded and granted enhancements and decorations for his activities and residency in the military. However, this same man detested the United States Government… so much that he was captivated with writing that communicated savagery and disdain and discussed overcoming and vanquishing the U.S. Government. He started to demonstrate his contempt at one call attention to he passed out racial oppressor handouts. He made a remark about taking guns from an army installation. Purchased and sold books and data on being a survivor, and out of every other place on earth, he did this at a different firearm show. He was devoured and focused with rights and opportunity. He bore the constitution with him as though it was his book of scriptures and he was looking for an association with the Lord.
Running Head: Case Study 3 He composed letters addressing his objection with the Brady Bill, a bill that he felt was made to repeal the second revision and take away the flexibility and rights to possess a weapon and shield themselves from the Government's abuse. His letter demonstrated his position on firearm control, flexibility, and established rights. He gave out anti- government compositions at the Waco, TX site. An occurrence happened here that he firmly contradicted imparting to various individuals that the legislature was deliberately killing individuals during the Waco, TX episode. That the legislature was at war with the American individuals. Informed his companions that he was so drained and fed up that there would be no more circulation of anti-government writing and it was the ideal opportunity for the upheaval.
