1 Nurses need presentation skills because they are required to disseminate information regarding best practice approaches, to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients and to participate during conferences and seminars (Foulkes, 2015). Moreover, presentation skills are essential for both formal and informal combination, and nurses will need to present their ideas in gatherings and even when obtaining employment. I believe I have excellent skills in organizing thoughts and delivering them during speeches and lectures. I don’t have problems regarding the preparation of my documents, searching for information to include in my speech. I usually plan about what to talk about in an event. I take time to reflect on the most important things to talk about depending on the audience. This is one of my strengths.
