Introduction. Media is the collective communication outlets. Also, they are tools that are used to store and deliver information or data. Information Media is a way through which information is passed to people. Therefore information media has social responsibility because people rely on them for information. If they pass the wrong information, people are likely to believe in something that is not true.

Example of media’s social responsibility. For example if a podcast shows information of a part of the constitution that is wrongly interpreted. It may cause disharmony as those who read the podcast are likely to believe in something that is not true (Schultz, Castelló & Morsing, 2013). With different interpretations to the same part of the constitution, people are likely not to read on the same page. This causes a lot of people to be misled and believe on what is false.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
