The owners of ships and their operator have recognized methods of reducing corrosion of the metal alloys. 3CR12 has been proposed as a Corrosion Control for Offshore Structures Corrosion affect the liabilities of the vessels and may even lead to a life loss after several marine structures have been damaged. This paper reviews different cycle management aspects concerning corrosion controls in marine life and controlling ships so that corrosive health can replace operational life. A systematic approach that analyses the literature on the structures of the ship is analyzed through the use of primary and secondary data. This proposal attempts to show methods of minimizing corrosion of the hulls and other parts of the equipment. Many accidents also happen because of the structures that have been corroded and therefore there is a huge need to use the materials that are resistant to corrosion. 3CR12 have been the latest material that has used by the constructors and is stainless Mixed with mild steel and has proven to be less corrosive material that can repair structures that have corroded. This paper will address corrosion and the marine materials that are used in building the ship parts such as the hull and why it is important to choose the right new materials. Surname 2 Introduction Marine corrosion refers to the damages that are caused by seawater in an electrochemical process when the metal alloys that get into contact with the seawater corrode and thereby get damaged. Corrosion is a that lead to the damage for the ships even if many constructors have found some of the best cost-effective methods to reduce the damages. Corrosion that takes place in ship structures and has several disadvantages that it presents to the constructors and owners of the ships. Every year, of marine corrosion increases and is currently estimated to be about 4% of the National produce. This is why there is the need to have a rational approach during the construction phases of the marine ships and enlightenment in protection against corrosion controls the basis of burden that exists in the wasted material apart from the wastage material cost corrosion also present environmental pollution and energy wastage. Background of the Study The marine industry loses a lot of money from corrosion and other expenses. These are costs that can be avoided if the right materials are used. Designers and Engineers together the pavement uses have to understand the main causes of corrosion and ways that the corrosion system can be reduced or eliminated from the seawater as a problem.
