Running Head: PROJECT PROPOSAL 1 To: Clayton Spencer Ft. Worth, Texas, USA [email protected] January 28, 2019 Dear Mr. Clayton Spencer, I have been attending High Ridge Church in Fort Worth, Texas for past several weeks. I have noticed that there are large crowds attending church each day (five services with roughly 4- 500 guests per service) without proper security to protect these individuals. “Since 1999, there have been more than 1,500 violent church attacks in America” (Miller, 2017). In the next few pages, I am proposing that this church ensures its patrons safety, by employing a member led security team. This offers an opportunity for individuals to serve the church in a non-typical, but extremely important manner. I hope you take this proposal seriously, as the protection of our members within this building is crucial to keeping our church a safe space. Enclosed within this document are the scope, timeline, and costs of implementing this team. I look forward to speaking with you more on the potential of this project. Sincerely, Tad Miller

PROPOSAL 2 Executive Summary Project Objective The objective for this project is to increase security during church services. I believe it is crucial to take action and ensure the security of our members and guests each and every Sunday. This new service team opens opportunities for those with military, police, or security experience to serve the church in an area that is much needed. Target Audience The target audience is two-fold for this project. First, is identifying those qualified to be on this team. Second, are the members of the church being protected by this new initiative. Opportunity/Risk Opportunity. This project presents several improvements and opportunities for the church. They are: Increased security provides higher sense of protection for members. Mitigates risks of attacks with team and plan in place to combat any threat to members. Offers opportunity for the church to leverage skills of members who are willing to serve on this team. Risk. There are associated risks with the opportunities described above. They are: Liability on church for someone hurt, if a situation arises where force is required.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
