Unformatted text preview: 1/28/08 Rob Seidman NBA 300 Assignment #1 As a junior in mathematics and economics, I plan to supplement my education by taking full advantage of the opportunities that Cornell has to offer by way of gaining a haphazard business education. I plan on going into some form of investment banking, be it in the capital markets, sales and trading, or private equity. I intend to gain a summer internship at a prestigious firm, and then apply for a position at the start of my senior year. My goal is to work as hard as I can for the first few years I spend in the real world, while simultaneously living like a poor college student (its not such a bad life) to save up as much as possible. Hopefully, I can have my kids college funds ready for them before they are born, with a little help from some intelligent investment decisions. However, eventually I will get bored of the stress, and the markets, as I can never stay in the same place for an exorbitant amount of time.
