This doesn’t surprise me. As a parent, we tend to put everything ahead of ourselves, which is why I scored so low on this category. I tend to try to take care of myself and set aside time to exercise. However, life always gets in the way. So, I have toallow myself that luxury. What I do need to improve on is taking time for myself to enjoy life. I used to ride my horses every weekend, this is what I need to start doing again. Getting out in the woods with nature and just enjoying life and nature would give me a much better perspective on life and work. 2.Life BalanceMy score for this category is 12. This again did not surprise me, as it is similar to the category “Sharpen the Saw”. I tend to be very devoted to my job and take great pride in doing a good job. I strive to do the best that I can, even if that takes more of my personal time. An example of this is during our AOP process. My current job is in a shared service center. We are centrally located and handle all the accounting services for the company, ie AP, AR, I/C and GL. Since we are a shared service, we are not supposed to make money, but rather only recover what costs are incurred. So beginning in July, westart analyzing the costs and recovery. This is a time consuming process and many times have worked into the wee hours of the night to complete tasks. We have many calls with different regions who are in different time zones. There are early calls and late calls. 3.Put First Things First

I scored lower on this than others due to the 2ndquestion “I do not allow the truly important activities of my life to get lost in the busy activities of my days’. I am fair at this, but could definitely use improvement. Some of the most important activities get pushed to the side for work. These important activities to me would be brushing my dogs and horses, taking my dogs for a walk, riding my horses. I am comfortable with the other 2 questions. I feel that I am very disciplined with plans and my actions promote my overall goals.
