In this journal assignment, you will: Select three to four security measures that you would like to see used in your own technology as an HIM professional. Explain your rationale behind why you chose these particular measures, making connections to your role as an HIM professional. Describe how these security measures keep data safe and secure. Explain why it is important to keep data secure and to have these security measures in place. When selecting your security measures, you may choose from those in Chapter 12 of Introduction to Computer Systems for Health Information Technology or choose other security measures from an outside resource.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
