ACTIONS LEADING TO DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE2When the Americans felt that the Great Britain was not treating them like the Britishcitizens, they were no longer interested in remaining loyal to the Great Britain. They felt that theGreat Britain was not respecting them and that they lived in a way that they did not deserve intheir own land.The Intolerable Acts which required the Great Britain to make decisions onbehalf of the colonies made the Americans desire for a change. They therefore decided to takeaction that will make them to be freed from the power of the Great Britain and they will be ableto run their country in their own ways (Rhodehamel & John, 2001). However, the Americans hada very weak army and their economy was not strong enough to fully support the fight they wereplanning to engage.
