EVALUATION PLAN FOR HARRIS CENTER FOR MENTAL HEALTH AND IDD 2 An Evaluation Plan Introduction This paper presents an evaluation plan for the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD. The organization’s mission is: To provide services of high quality that assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn, work, and live with dignity as contributing members of the community (insert citation). The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, within the resources available, to provide or ensure the provision of services and supports that are as high quality, efficient, and cost effective as possible such that persons with mental disabilities may live with dignity as fully functioning, participating and contributing members of our community, by way of providing clinical and non-clinical services (insert citation). Program evaluation is defined as “…The use of social research methods to systematically investigate the effectiveness of social intervention programs in ways that are adapted to their political and organizational environments and are designed to inform social action to improve social conditions” [Ros04]. This therefore means that in order to perform successful evaluation of any given program, then there is need to establish the mission under which the program is established. The objectives that the program is meant to fulfil should also be established. These two form the initial step that will enable the evaluators to be able to develop performance indicators for the evaluation plan [Ros04]. The mission and description of the objectives of the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD are stated at the beginning of this evaluation.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
