Course Prerequisites
BUSN 20100 or BUSN 30000 or BUSF 30000 or BUSE 30000 or BUSW 30000. Students
cannot enroll in BUSN 20410 if they have already completed BUSN 35200.
Course Requirements
The course requirements are (1) class participation, (2) case write-ups, (3) midterm examination,
and (4) final examination.
Readings and Materials
The textbook for the course is
Corporate Finance
by Berk and DeMarzo (Editions 1, 2, 3, or 4).
Do not purchase the “Core” or “Fundamental” versions of the textbook, as they do not contain all
chapters. You do not need the “My Finance Lab” that comes with the textbook. The cases for
the course are contained in the course packet. Any additional articles will be distributed later in
the course.
