2 Annotated Bibliography The concept “mobbing” has been specified within the last 20 years (Qureshi, et al, 2015; Leymann, 1996), which occurs within the workplace. The methodology of mobbing occurs when a group targets and isolates an individual through psychological aggression over an extended period of time. This extreme form of workplace bullying has excessive “social stressors” that has an adverse effect on an employee’s productivity and may impact the health of the employee. It is this long-term intentional harassment and actions by their peers and/or supervisor which is the bases for the individual to quit. However, mobbing does not end with the departure of the targeted employee. Many peers may have witnessed these actions therefore, according to Aktan & Aktas (2015, “once the mobbing appears in an organization, it also affects the all other employees in case they might expose to the same actions. This fear harms the other’s productivities as well as peace in the organization.” The research focused on preventive measures
