A: Pyelonephritis Disparities/Inequalities in Health for Women -In 1990, National Institute of Health (NIH) spent only 13% of budget on women’s health research. -Having more women in medicine may not necessarily help because they would be socialized possible with the same sexist ideas. Pro & Con of Women’s Health Specialty: Pro: Women comprise 50 percent of the population, pediatrics have a specific specialty. Diagnoses are based on clinical trials with men, not women.
