The Chicago convention or 1944 convention was signed to establish air freedoms. Each freedom presents a special privilege that is granted for one or more countries via bilateral agreements. There are five main freedoms:1stfreedomThe right to fly and carry traffic over the territory of another partner to theagreement without landing.2ndfreedomThe right to land in those countries for technical reasons as refueling without boarding or deplaning passengers3rdfreedomThe right of an airline from one country to land in a different country and deplane passengers coming from the airline’s own country4thfreedomThe right of an airline from one country to land in a different country and board passengers traveling to the airline’s own country5thfreedom (not applicable for the US)The right of an airline from one country to land in a second country, to then pick up passengers and fly on to a third country where the
