Representativeness Heuristic is almost like making a predetermined assumption of someone or something and categorizing them depending how similar they are to the norm of the subject at hand. I think a good example of Representativeness Heuristic is like in most school settings if you see a football player, cheerleader, or any type of athlete you automatically assume that they’re not the smartest students around. When in actuality they might be doing academically well and hope to pursue their education further and to achieve a good career in the future. Availability heuristics is when we make a decision based on what remember of event and it can be swayed by others .An example of this is when a big music festival is being advertised as “must go” experience or “experience you won’t forget” and you save up for months to get a ticket but then the day comes for the festival and it didn’t live up to your expectations.
