Broc Bailey Prof. Jodie T. Knapton  His 101 April 4 th , 2018 I find it interesting that the gene for red hair is related to the Neanderthals. I would assume that it is a recessive gene, because my cousin has red hair and the last red head in my family lineage was 2 to 3 generations back. It also shows that we have to be related to them, because we have the same gene they had and it proves humans didn’t derive from monkeys or apes. The real-life hobbit. When you think of hobbits you generally think of Lord of The Rings or Harry Potter. Now I have learned that they were a real thing, not something of a fairy tale. I believe that they must have died off, because they couldn’t fair against the regular size human or Neanderthal of their time. I think the new stone age is interesting, because the settled down and started farms. They went from following herds of buffalo to sowing wheat and barley. I am interested to see how they domesticated cattle, boars (pigs), and prairie chickens. I would be crazy to just catch one of these animals alive, but to than domesticate them.
