Q4) Aardvark liked not only ketchup but also mustard. A noun is used to describe a person, place, or thing. The different types are common and proper nouns. For example, common nouns are utilized for broader topics that are generalized and proper nouns are used in order to identify a concrete/specific name or title. A verb is established to place movement and actions on nouns. The two different kinds of verbs are transitive and intransitive. 1/5 2/4/2019 Response Set 3 - Wri 90 - Google Docs Transitive means you take an action according to an object, for example, “my mom gave me a fitbit for the gym”. Where intransitive verbs could be as simple as “They fell.” An adverb is what tells you where, when, and how or how often/much depending on how it used in a sentence. Preposition is when you create a relationship between words that are usually short and usually are meant to describe space and time. A conjunction is what connects the words, phrases, and parts of sentences such as, and, but, and or. An interjection is a word or words that describe emotion, reactions, insert pauses, and demand attention. Rap : Yo yo yo, my name is Nelly and I ain’t smelly The Noun is my name, cause it describes my game How I play is the verb, and between us is my preposition Look at my position, whether I play ball or dance at a hall, You can describe me, with different parts of speech, y’all! Smelly is the adjective, please don’t add no additives Unless they’re conjunctions, then we’ll hang at a function. 2) In order to assess which nouns you should capitalize, it’s important to recognize if it names a specific person, place, or thing because it’s something that has established a name for itself. Fanboys stand for: For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, and So. The difference between subordinate clauses is that they work for the main clause in sentence, and coordinating conjunctions are organizers of the sentence or phrase, which are also known as Fanboys. 3) P eople is the noun, often say is the verb, live for today is the adverb, and is the conjunction, and the end of the sentence brings some emotion and reactions from the reader, therefore, it is the interjection. 4. A safe audience allows you to think of ideas and helps bring a guide towards what you choose to write about and how you go about it, while a dangerous audience is most often referred to as the audience that has no interest in the what the writer is trying to convey but rather look for what’s wrong or blindly disapproves. You also have to pay attention to who will actually be your audience so that you can write the correct information as well as you think may be reading your writing, but actually isn’t. Thankfully, I have never encountered a dangerous audience that has totally destroyed and belittled my writing, but if it were to happen, I feel that it would just be one of those situations that you shouldn’t take so personally but attempt to grow from it. She should be persuaded because she is the one who will decides whether or not I get in, therefore, she is my intended audience. 6.
