Choose a state in the United States, research that state's aviation plans for the next 5 years including major airport projects and funding. Post your findings via the discussion tool. The state of Ohio has a few things planned for the next few years in their aviation industry. Jeff Clair, author of the article titled “Whats the Future of the Aerospace Industry in the Birthplace of Aviation?”, sits down with the new head of the Ohio Aerospace Institute. John Sankovic, who spent 31 years at NASA as Chief Technologist, now sits in as president and CEO of the aerospace institute. In Ohio’s current state, the aviation industry and related businesses account for 37,000 jobs. The goal in the next few years is to attract more businesses to the region to increase jobs in the area. This was done in 2018 with the creation of the Aerozone Alliance. This alliance creates various hubs around Ohio designed to drive job growth and wealth creation.
