1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This report is mainly based on ethical issues of a software engineer and a project manager. In the today’s
world of technology and globalization, project and ethics have become a relevant term. It is because, any
project without ethics may not be successful. Similarly, in this report also, I have talked about the
essence of ethics in a successful completion of project. Wayne Davidson, who is a software engineer of
the project denies handing over the project which had minor fault in it but his boss, project manager
Deborah Shepherd consoles him to sign off on the software and delivers it to the Federal Aviation
Authority(FAA).

3. INTRODUCTION
: Ethics depends on very much established measures of good and bad that
signifies what we people need to do, for the most part regarding rights, commitment, advantages to
society, decency, or particular virtues[1ht189]. In this case study, a software engineer and a project
manager are having an ethical dilemma. So, this report aims to provide suitable solution and limitations
to the involved parties in this project. A very large group of people is going to be affected by the product
of this project. That’s why it is very important to address all the possible defects and faults within the
scheduled time frame so that the project can be completed, tested and implemented within correct time
