Álvaro Alemán The Films of Alfred Hitchcock Ramiro Figueroa 2016/11/08 The Trouble with Harry – 6 th Reaction Paper What is the trouble with Harry? The Trouble with Harry is, undoubtedly, one of the films that has more distance to what we, until this point, have conceived as a Hitchcockian production. In contrast to the previous films, The Trouble with Harry is a black comedy. It revolves around the discovery of a dead body –Harry Worp–, who has presumably been “killed” in the hills of a particular town. It becomes interesting since every character that appears in the screen has something to do with his “murder”. At first, Captain Albert Wiles –a sailor–, blames himself for accidentally shot him while he was hunting. Then, other characters are involved in the problem, such as Sam Marlowe, who is a painter that founds the body and portray his face. Also, Mrs. Wiggs, who is an old lady that thinks she was the one who murderer Harry with the steel of one of her heels. Jennifer Rogers is another
