Abstract
The paper is a report of a case of Kennedy-Brown Family-A family experiencing stillbirth. The
report is based on the response of the family interview undertaken in preparation for the creation
of the Ecomap and Genogram. The data collected include the ages, sex, names, and occupation
among others which seemed relevant to the study. The contents illustrate the interfamilial
relationships and support systems with the creation of genogram and ecomap. The genogram
graphically represents the family tree with data on the relationships among the individuals. The
ecomap diagrammatically exhibits the social and personal relationships of the individuals with
their environment. With that, the bigger picture of the family’s relationships, medical history and
inherent psychological factors will be displayed.

Introduction
The initial step of the creation of the Genogram includes the collection of data. In this
particular study, an interview was undertaken to get the data for the Genogram and the Ecomap.
The following issues were considered:
 Identification the immediate family members
 Identification of the health problems
 Identification of the people that lived with the immediate family
 Determination of the manner in which the people are related
 Information was gathered on –age, sex, name, health problems, occupation
