Rivaldo ManzanoSection ABAngels in America EssayDue 1/31In Tony Kushner’s Angels in America:Millennium Approaches the character I identified with the most was Louis Ironson. Throughout the play he was troubled with guilt and tried to take others people’s feelings into consideration. He was never completely cold hearted but at the end of the day he did what was best for himself. I canidentify with this because often times I will feel guilty and try to view situations from different perspectives but when it comes down to it I will do what’s best for myself and the people I love without hurting other too much. The character I least identified with was Roy Cohn. Throughout the play he showed himself to be a complete asshole. He ishomophobic even though he himself is attracted to men. This is because of his power seeking mentality. He did not want to be associated with being gay because at that time it came along with many negative connotations. I can not see myself being anything thisperson. He is a homophobic and racist bigot.
