Robert Vaughan Creation Account From Genesis 1-2
• The Bible and Christian Worldview, is that God is the
originator of the universe.
• As Christians we know God created the universe in 6 days. • The account of our creation asserts that God created light
and darkness. This light and darkness are what we know to
be day and night on the first day. Creation Account From Genesis 1-2
• On the second day God created the sky.
• The third day it was the land and seas he created.
• By the fourth day, God created the stars, sun, and moon.
• It was the fifth day that all living creature filled the Earth.
• On the sixth day, God had created man and woman in his
vision (Fairchild, 2015). Creation Account From Genesis 1-2
• It was the seventh day God declared that it would be a day
of Holiness and a day of rest.
• God created feelings and emotions that we as humans feel.

God is a forgiving and kind God, He loves us unconditionally Personal Beliefs About the Origins of the Universe My Worldview
The origin of the universe is an exciting topic in many ways affects
my worldview. I'm older and have been through a lot of life
changes, hence, I've seen a lot of things and experienced a lot of
things that have helped me come to the conclusion that I have
today in creating my worldview. Personal Beliefs About the Origins of the Universe
In my younger days I don’t think that I had created a relationship
with him because my family was not as religious as I now wish that
they had of been. I grew up in the Catholic Church but never
really understood the meaning and the purpose. At times I
believed God did create the universe and everything that we are
today. There were many times that I went to him with prayer and
ask for help, I truly believed that he was our creator. (Christian
Worldview Lecture 101, 2018). Personal Beliefs About the Origins of the Universe
Yet, there were other times in my younger days when I wanted to
believe in The Big Bang theory. That I wanted to believe the
universe was created not by God but by solid science and reason.
It is my belief that much of that understanding of The Big Bang
theory is because of the Sciences of they teach in school. That is
why I believe that religion should be allowed in school and a part
of every young student's life. It becomes confusing to a young
mind and the evolution of the world becomes confusing to them. Personal Beliefs About the Origins of the Universe
Now, at the ripe old age of 58 my worldview has changed
considerably over the years. I believe that God created the universe, I believe that there is an afterlife, and I believe that the
things that we do now in our current life will affect our afterlife. I
believe in the stories of the Bible, of Adam and Eve, I even believe
in Noah's Ark. I also believe in the power of prayer! How My Beliefs About Origins Impact My Worldview
As a young child my beliefs about
the origins didn't really impact my
Worldview. I don't think I ever
really understood what was going
on. Therefore, I believe that every
young child should have access to
Religion in school. This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY-NC-ND How My Beliefs About Origins Impact My Worldview The Bible tells us God is omnipotent and omnipresent and that is
the forever eternal and infinite (Fairchild, 2015). Our Universe
was created by the ever so beautiful burst of elements, light and
will that God be the creator of that. Now think about that real
good, is that even a possibility? How My Beliefs About Origins Impact My Worldview
If he created all that is today then where we originated (the
gases, light, elements, chemicals, etc) all came from his creation
(Christian Worldview 101 Lecture, 2018). According to my
Bible, (the King James Version 2014) the origin of our universe
was that of God's will power. How My Beliefs About Origins Impact My Worldview
My beliefs now at such an older age impact my worldview
completely different I believe in the power of prayer. I pray every
night before I go to bed. I believe that he listens to my prayers,
although he doesn't always answer them, or he answers them in a
way that I don't like God answers my prayers! If he is all powerful
and all knowing, is it possible that the way we came to be is due to
the way elements lined up because he created those elements? How My Beliefs About Origins Impact My Worldview
In closing I believe that
religion plays a very big
part of my life now I
believe in God and I
believe but I am going
to go to heaven one day
and be by his side.
