Organizational Behavior
Define Organizational Behavior
Organizational behavior is the study of the attitudes and actions of people within the
workplace.
Communication is one of the key elements of organizational behavior and helps us
to better understand the flow of information as well as issues within the organization.
Different components of organizational behavior used within an organization
There are many components of organizational behavior that can be used within an
organization.
One is structure.
This is the system of the roles and the authority relationships
within an organization.
Basically, the structure of a company is who leads and what type of
leaderships skills they use. These skills should fit both the company and its goals. The
organization will benefit from a commanding leader who can make key decisions
(Lacoma,
2019).
Another component of organizational behavior is culture.
The organizational culture has
shared values by associates and managers within the organization that can influence behavior.
