The war was between the colonists and the British authorities with the former struggling to gain independence from Britain. The United States colonist finally emerged victories against Great Britain which led to the United States independence. The war also led to political supremacy of George Washington as he led his Continental Army towards victory. Numerous factors contributed to the American Revolution, and the two such causes were the Stamp Act, and the Boston Massacre and these causes would be discussed in details.
