When you are commit of doing a crime you want a trail to defend your action whether you did it or not. You want someone to judge you without being bias because this can cost you your life. From the research I did on death penalty, the death penalty is usually based on race. The Death Penalty Information Center and Death Penalty Focus persuasive us to the relationship between race and death penalty because of the past death prosecutions, the jury selection, and the way the system failed.
