Mahabodhi Temple The Mahabodhi Temple is a temple of course and it its located in Bodhi Gaya, Bihar 824231, India. Since the Mahabodhi is in India there was no way from to visited temple. So, the online version was the only option. The Mahabodhi temple is and ancient temple the first one temple in the Buddhism religion. It never been rebuilt but it did get renovated over a time of period. There been earthquakes, flooding and more disaster to the temple but it never need to be rebuilt from the down up. The only religion the utilized this site is Buddhism. Constructed with one of the oldest brick structures the temple survived in eastern India. One of the traditional architectural it is tradition was using the Indian. Mahabodhi Temple's central tower rises 180 feet. The Mahabodhi was heavily renovated during the 19th century. The tower in the center is surround by four more smaller towers. And that is surround by all four sides by stone railings, which is about two meters high. These railings reveal two distinct types. You tell by their style its two different time period. The older stones are made of sandstone that was around 150 BCE. The older railing shows some of the gods that Hinduism and Buddhism shares which is Lakshmi, the Hindu/Buddhist goddess of wealth, which is being bathed by elephants.
