CAUTIs impact patient care outcomes and satisfaction and most of the time can be preventable. EVALUATION PLAN To measure the outcomes of the implemented bundle charge nurses on the units will assess per shift the indications for catheter placement and help enforce timely removal. In addition to nurses, the EMR will also remind staff and physicians of the placement of the catheters and to verify if still appropriate. The outcomes can be measured on a daily, weekly and monthly basis by EMR and also through the involvement of the infection control dept.
