“The Moral Panic Concept refers to the media playing a huge role into facilitating dominant groups such as Minorities. Minorities are seen in the public as a reaction to individual’s behavior that are perceived as threatening dominant values and culture.” (Jewkes, 2015, pg.82) Moral Panic states how individual groups are seen dangerous to society like the Salem Witch Craft when the group of young girls were seen as a threat.
