SUPPLY CHAIN QUALITY MANAGEMENT PRACTICES 2 Foster, S. T., Wallin, C., & Ogden, J. (2011). Towards a better understanding of supply chain quality management practices. International Journal of Production Research, 49 (8), 2285-2300. doi:10.1080/00207541003733791 Statement of the Author’s Purpose The main purpose or idea of this article, which the authors discuss, pertains to the different quality tools and processes used by an operations and supply chain managers. According to the authors, operations and supply chain managers achieve the quality aspect within the supply through different techniques (Foster, Wallin, & Ogden, 2011). The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
