P r o j e c t P l a n : J a n c y n R e p l a c e m e n t P r o j e c t Page| 3Business Need/OpportunityAt the end of Fiscal Year 2018, Ross Stores, Inc. will terminate its contract with Jancyn to complete biquarterly Ross Stores and dd’s discounts individual store, customer service and sizing mystery shops. Similar information can be obtained by utilizing our newly adopted SMG Customer Insights web-based Customer Receipt survey data. Over the past twelve years, Jancyn has also provided the current web-based data entry platform for District Managers to enter their monthly store visits. Jancyn is well known for their mystery shop services. However, it has not updated its technology, nor does it provide an up-to-date platform to fit the needs of Ross Stores, Inc. Service Now, which Loss Prevention utilizes as their web-based store visits platform, and which theHelp Desk utilizes as their store ticket platform, is the compatible alternative identified to replace the Jancyn platform beginning in February 2019.Statement of WorkThis effort includes the following:Determine, define, and secure project scope and resourcesConduct a needs analysis, draft and define software specificationsDevelop a prototype based on functional specifications and obtain approval on designTest functionality and assess strengths and deficiencies of Service Now product and implementation methods with all other Ross applicationsDevelop training materials for Help Desk, District Managers and corporate usersIdentify pilot group for Fall 2018 pilot and communicate training materialsHost training call with pilot group and monitor results through end of 2018Incorporate feedback from pilot groupRoll out Service Now platform to District Managers in FY 2019Project ObjectivesBusiness Objectives for the Jancyn Replacement Project:Implement and improve database platform with access granted to all District Managers, Zone Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, and select Corporate usersProvide database platform with accessibility from office or remote locations, including access via mobile devicesProgram portal to record metrics and communicate/auto-populate to Field Operations myDashboardThe program must allow for the ability to save store visit drafts, as well as save and resume visits at a later time
