Jancyn web-based data entry is costly to implement changes within and does not allow for information to be saved mid-entry, which oftentimes leads to District Managers having to begin multiple times if data-entry times out prior to completion. Currently, both Loss Prevention and the Help Desk utilize a different system, Service Now, to store data and this same software package can fulfill the needs of the Operations Team and be adapted to the needs of District Managers for store visits. Aligning to a software program that multiple business entities utilize within the organization would reduce costs and allow Ross Stores, Inc. to streamline resources and not have to maintain multiple platforms.
