Attracting right people with proper skill might be one of the most important reason to improve performance and having continues improvement in the organization. That is why recruitment process can be critical for every companies and required business to do it in a best way (Florea &Mihai, 2014) . Recruitment include all kinds of activities to analyze individual’s skills that matchbest for job vacancy in business(Cornet & Warland, 2008). Also recruitment is set of actions which takes by organization to find right people with the correct skills for the company for the immediate employment or future job vacancy(Sekiou, 2001). recruitment contains different step from understanding the need for recruitment till entering new employees to the organization(Corbel & Chevreuil, 2009). Selection is also another word which usually comes with recruitment and it might be the necessary part of it. Selection can be defined as discovering applicant’s characteristics in orders to judge their suitability for job vacancy (Khandekar & Sharma, 2005). Selection is the process of picking and choosing out besides understanding whichcandidate can be in a particular position in an organization (Sutter, 2007). In this paper we are trying to assess different stages of recruitment and selection for a growing in retail industry in one clothing store which decides to extend the business and opens one other location in Metropolises, Metro town. Hr department from the head office is responsible for recruitment andselection for the new location. It is important to know Hr role can be very challenging when it comes to retail industry for the following reasons. Success and growth of the new business is highly depend on front employees which are connect to people directly and deals with them. So, it is vital to choose a right person as a front employees. Another crucial thing is defining a comprehensive and solid strategy for the success of business and make sure the mentioned program is implement in the store in the absence of superiors from head office. Making sure all employee are on ongoing process of training which reach them to the highest level of their potential that can directly influence profitability in the store (5 Tips for Being an Effective Manager of HR in Retail, 2018).
