Creation Account From Genesis 1-2 Genesis 1 is the universal point of view and looks at the big picture of creation (Diffey, 2015). Father: spoke the heavens and earth into existence by his divine word. Son Jesus Christ: all things were created for Jesus. He holds everything together. Spirit: “the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:2 ESV). The spirit is God’s active presence in creation

Genesis 2 looks at the creation of Adam and Eve and God’s relationship with humanity (Diffey, 2015). On the seventh day God blessed the world with holiness, and he was done with creation. “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.” (Genesis2:7 ESV). God then created the Garden of Eden. Creation Account From Genesis 1-2
