Johansson et al. (2014), conducted a descriptive, quantitative study in order to improve consciousness of diverse cultural groups that have the potential to contribute to the conclusion of a change process. This proves that being aware of one organizations’ culture is a crucial beginning point preceding any implementation procedure. In their study the appraised four different cultures subtypes as well as four scopes of being resistant to change. Three separate psychiatric wards were chosen, questionnaires were given out. The questionnaire for culture had a 10-point Likert scale. The Resistance to Change scale was used to assess the reaction of any changes. This questionnaire was tallied on a 6-point Likert scale. The results were than analyzed, and the mean formulated. According to their study there was a small correlation between the organizational culture of trust, cohesion and flexibility to a decreased resistance to change specifically in routine seeking behavior.
