Introduction In each part of the world each country has their own healthcare as the United States can learn a lot from Switzerland which has a better healthcare system. There are more at the beginning than 190 countries which healthcare systems are being conducted. In the research being done Switzerland has one of the best healthcare systems which is something that the United States is ranked at a lower ranking. “Switzerland’s healthcare system derives a significant portion of funding from mandatory Swiss health insurance premiums (averaging around EUR 450 per month) and out-of-pocket payments, meaning there is no free healthcare in Switzerland” [ CITATION Exp19 \l 1033 ]. In those who live within Switzerland have a much higher life expectancy than those who live in the United States. Switzerland has a direct democracy, had quality care, and universal health coverage, in the long run could benefit the healthcare system of the United States. So, in having the analyzing to which the Swiss government’s roles in the overall healthcare, to which the health-related issues, and the healthcare system in the current structures. Switzerland “In the country of Switzerland, which is located on the continent of Europe as shares borders with Italy, France, Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein” [ CITATION Exp191 \l 1033 ]. The area of Switzerland covers 39,997 square km of their land and 1,280 squares of km of water.Switzerland has a population over 7.6 million people and is the 137thlargest nation in the world. Also, Switzerland has one of the highest mountains such as the swiss Alps and has one of the most beautiful pastures, waterfalls, and rivers. In this country has 26 cantons which is just the states within the United States. In the overall climate has a sunny and warm type of weather and
with the Alps can cause the climate variations throughout Switzerland. Within the Alps the temperatures are lower, and then other areas have a much higher temperature. “Switzerland is a neutral state and neutrality is one of the most important principles of Swiss foreign policy” [ CITATION Swi07 \l 1033 ]. As, this means that the Switzerland Army cannot take part within conflict only time is when they are being attacked which would be called self-defense and to have security. In having this knowledge is a characteristic of the country’s government direct democracy. “Switzerland is the closest state in the world to have a direct democracy where citizens may challenge any law voted by the federal assembly” [ CITATION Ben171 \l 1033 ]. In the Switzerland they have government which is also known as Federal Council “six members constitute the Executive branch that is the Federal Council of Switzerland and every four years, citizens of Switzerland vote for 200 members to constitute the National Council” [ CITATION Ben171 \l 1033 ].
