Austin Guiswite December 13, 2007 Laura Shackelford A Place to Call Home: Boston vs. New York City In the American culture, there is a familiar idea that has an important meaning called the American Dream. The American Dream is widespread term in the United States that is used to describe one’s goals and the efforts put forth in order to essentially achieve one’s dreams. An exceptionally important aspect of the American Dream is the freedom to decide a place in which to live and call home according to how it suits one’s predilection in every aspect, including desirability.
