Riots/protest, boycotts/buycotts, tagging, strikes, refusal to vote Suffrage/franchise -terms for the right to vote *Suffragates * disenfranchisement Voter turnout – the percentage of eligible individuals that actually vote Digitial Political Participation - activities designed to include politics using the internet Slacktivism - actions that require little time or sincere involvement; criticism of digital political participation Digital Divide – not everyone has equal access to participate online (tech, internet, skills); criticism of digital political participation Fed Govt 10/17/17 Redistricting- each voting district should have approximately the same population today, that means about 70,000 people in each voting district.
