Domino’s case – Lena Geck1.) The crisis was a result of Domino’s products’ lack of quality. Even though as a fooddelivery service, it is important to emphasize quick and reliable delivery, it’s just asimportant to deliver tasty, high quality food. Especially, since customers have grownincreasingly demanding over time, due to large numbers of alternative products andsocietal changes, companies need to react to those developments and respond to theircustomers’ wants and needs.2.) The Domino’s team came to the realization, that despite their large market share, thecompany was losing customers and they needed to react accordingly. Through marketresearch they found out about their customers’ complaints, which mainly regarded thePizza’s taste. This is why they worked out three components, crust, sauce and cheese, andput them together in different combinations, to find out what the best combination andtherefore the improved product would be.
