She did so by computing the mean (average) value of people’s answers to question Q15 of the survey. The mean value she thus obtained is 3.5, which leads her to conclude that the average pre-tax income of the respondents to the survey is between $30,000 and $49,999. Do you agree with her approach? Briefly explain. I disagree with her approach. Her approach is wrong because the question is ranking ordering between values, which means it is ordinal scale. Meanwhile, the ordinal scales are belonging to categorical scales, which cannot add, subtract, or compute averages. 2.
