Apple Versus Samsung 2 Abstract This paper will provide a more in-depth view on the smart phones, Samsung and Apple, more specifically the Galaxy Tab S2 and the iPad Pro 9.7. I will compare and contrast functionalities and capabilities of both tablets, as well as the accessories, potential for future upgrades, warranties, and the support available. I will also recommend what type of user would be best suited to operate the Galaxy Tab S2.

Apple Versus Samsung 3 Introduction The iPad is Apple’s variation of a computer tablet, which was first released in 2010. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is produced by Samsung Electronics and is an Android-based tablet computer that was also released in 2010. A tablet has the ability to browse the Internet, take pictures, and record videos all from a touch screen. Apple iPad Versus Samsung Galaxy Tab Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab have made numerous tablets since they began in 2010. The latest tablets model for Apple and Samsung are the iPad Pro 9.7 and the Galaxy Tab S2. The new Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and the new iPad Pro 9.7 have the same size screen, but have many real differences and not just because one runs on Android and the other on iOS. Build and Design The Galaxy Tab S 9.7 switched to 4:3 screen aspect ratios, which is the same ratio that Apple has been using for all their iPad models, so this makes the Samsung similar in size and shape to Apple’s iPad. Specially the Pro 9.7 is 9.4 x 6.6 x 0.24 inches, while the Tab S2 is 9.3 x 6.7 x 0.22 inches, these means the iPad is a little taller and wider and just a slight thinner.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
