Lab #4 “Op Amp Circuits” Lab Date: February 13 th 2008. Report Date: February 18 th 2008. EE 230 Lab #4 Kyle Veugeler #345 Section: C Abstract: The purpose of Lab #4 was to introduce op amps and to investigate the behavior of op amp circuits. This lab also helped the class further their knowledge of the function generator and oscilloscope techniques. The following topics are included within Lab #4 o Part 1: Non-inverting Amplifier Circuit o Part 2: Inverting Amplifier Circuit o Part 3: The Integrator o Part 4: The Differentiator The Lab Itself The actual lab itself took longer than I had thought. We began by solving for the transfer functions and gain of each given circuit. From there we were to build our own circuits with a final gain value in mind. Throughout the lab the class was told to measure the voltages and gains for each circuit, then compare those values to that of our predicted values. Also, we manipulated each circuit to determine the many changing characteristics

Also, this lab helped to inform the class the many aspects of wave manipulation and the many different wave types we Electrical Engineers use in everyday life. Things to Work On I feel as if we need more experience with Signal Express. I could not get some of the programs to work at first, but I feel as if given more time I should be able to use this program with relative ease....
