The Grapes of Wrath is a powerful novel and film. The Grapes of Wrath was a hit, and was a film and novel that was political and raw. The film even had bidding wars going for it. The structure of the film is that it is a road film, a journey though episodic trials that test the people in it. There is a dark lighting to make it seem slightly depressing. The migrant people are poor and are working for their next meal. The characters are very dirty and seem to very tired and hot in the sun. I believe that Ford’s choice of camera shot was very clever because it really shows the contrast between the migrant workers and Joad....
