Sesame Seed Scholar There lived a brahmin who decided to learn Sanskrit, the language most Hindu scriptures are written in. Unfortunately, he did not have a good memory. He would study the words and soon forget them. He tried a lot but could never memorize the words. One day he made a new plan he placed two bowls and filled one up with sesame seeds and left the other empty. He began memorizing the words. Each time he recited the word he would place a seed in the empty gourd. Sesame seeds are very tiny there could have been more than a thousand in the bowl.
